Building for the future
In 2028 a brand new 12.000 m2 campus building will rise and provide the framework for close collaboration between several of Denmarks largest educational institutions.
The new building will include a pilot plant, laboratories and makerspaces – facilities that support innovative teaching, research and development.
This will create a unique educational environment where students and professors from six of Denmark’s largest educational institutions can collaborate across disciplines while gaining real-world experience through close interaction with industry professionals.
Helix Lab
Helix Lab is a research and education center at Campus Kalundborg, where MSc and PhD students from Danish universities carry out thesis work and research projects in close collaboration with Kalundborg’s industry.
Helix Lab offers access to state-of-the-art laboratories, and a study area, and hosts various events and activities, that contribute to building a local scientific community. This includes activities like e.g. Tech Talks, poster sessions and Ph.d. seminars, where students, researchers and industrial specialists meet, exchange knowledge, and develop new ideas together.
